Capital Polymer Additives, a business unit of Chemserve Systems, supplies
a comprehensive package of products and specialty services to the PVC, polyolefin
and rubber manufacturing and converting industries.
As
a leading South African manufacturer of PVC heat stabilisers since 1977,
the business has the proven ability to develop tailored and customised stabiliser
packages to meet specific customer requirements. Our well-equipped laboratory
in Chloorkop boasts all the modern equipment and instrumentation necessary
to develop high-performance, cost-effective PVC stabilisers. Not only is
our laboratory facility used for new product development and quality control,
it is also extensively used to conduct technical service evaluations on
behalf of customers.
Providing a professional technical service is an integral part of Capital’s
value adding activities. Through joint development projects, technical training
and sharing of technical information, we assist customers to be progressive
and remain competitive in their own markets. Customers also have access
to latest technology developments through the alliances forged by Capital
with world class international manufacturers.
Our national sales office and ISO accredited manufacturing facility is located
Chemserve Park in Chloorkop, Johannesburg. Sales offices are maintained
in Durban and Cape Town and warehouses are located in major centers.
Capital Polymer Additives offers a wide range of products to the PVC compounder,
including lead stabilisers (Spicco), mixed metal soap stabilisers, new generation
heavy metal free (HMF) stabilisers (Chemstab) and epoxy oil (ESO). We also
represent several reputable international manufacturers with products primarily
serving polyolefin and rubber processing industries. These include CIL –
Cilbond and Cilrelease (metal to rubber and polyurethane bonding agents),
Hans Barbe - Promol (anti-adhesives for the rubber industry), Polytechs
- PW60 (PIB tackifier masterbatch for the polyethylene film industry) and
Conditech - Calsec PO (Calcium Oxide moisture scavenger for the plastics
processing industry).
