We retain copies of these enquiry emails strictly for our legitimate business interests, which include:
Performance Monitoring:Verifying the volume and delivery of leads generated by our platform for listed businesses.
Service Auditing: Fulfilling our accountability to listed businesses regarding platform performance.
Security & Fraud Prevention:Detecting and mitigating spam, malicious submissions, and system abuse.
These emails are stored passively on our server.
If you are interested in advertising on Plastixportal website, and complete the Form, you must provide your company, name, cell/tel nr and email address.
If you choose to contact us to advertise your business on our platform, you are contacting Plastixportal admin directly. We will store the information to enable further communication with you about your advertising needs.
When you submit a request to access or download company profiles, brochures, catalogs, or spec sheets on a Business Listing hosted on Plastixportal, we collect the following personal details you provide in the form fields, which include:
• Company Name
• Name
• Email Address
By submitting a request to download a file, you acknowledge that your information is processed solely to fulfill your specific request. Your details emailed directly to the Company connected with the Business Listing, as a business lead, for the Company to followup and contact you. We store a copy of the details provided, to monitor quality and spam of the leads.
We do not sell or rent your personal details to third parties. Your submission details are shared exclusively with the specific company whose document you requested. Please note that once your information is transmitted, per email to the company, their use, storage, and processing of your data is governed entirely by their own privacy policy and practices, which are outside of our control.
We act as a Responsible Party for the personal information we collect, store, and monitor on our servers for our quality control and security purposes.
The Listed Business: Once the enquiry information is transmitted to the business you selected, that business becomes an independent Responsible Party for their own use of your data. They are legally required to process your information in accordance with POPIA. We do not control and are not responsible for their independent data handling practices.
You may request confirmation of whether we hold your personal information and obtain a copy of it and may request the deletion of your personal information.

Local Infrastructure: All email records are hosted on secure, encrypted local servers located physically within the Republic of South Africa. Data does not leave South African borders.
Access Control:Access to the archive server and mailbox is strictly restricted to authorized platform administrators.
In line with POPIA’s data minimization principles, we do not store communications indefinitely. Enquiry emails and Brochure & File Download Leads are retained for a maximum period of twelve (12) months from the date of submission to allow for performance auditing. Upon the expiry of this 12-month window, the emails are permanently deleted from our local servers.
