The Rockhot Oil Trolley - moulded in polyprop to handle potentially high temperature cooking oil
The Rockhot Oil Trolley for transporting used cooking oil, took the ARMSA Product of the Year award for the 9th year in a row.
Pioneer Plastics is heavily involved in new product development and a specialist in custom moulding. Pioneer Plastics designs and builds its own moulds in-house, for both steel and aluminum (the company has installed CNC systems for automated high-accuracy cutting), and has invested steadily in its toolroom is a big advantage.
The Rockhot Oil Trolley, moulded in polyprop to handle potentially high temperature cooking oil as well as offering enhanced impact resistance, was developed for an SA manufacturer which reprocesses the oil into bio-diesel. Disposal of cooking oil, and of any other oils, is a potentially hazardous operation that can contaminate soil or whatever medium it’s drained into.
The item has a number of built-in features which make operation more attractive. Once filled and weighing potentially over 50kgs, trolley wheels were necessary, for obvious reasons, and fixtures are included for easier filling and emptying
